Mike was born in BC and received his law degree from UBC in 1977.
After his call to the BC bar, he commenced practice in Burnaby.
In 1980 Mike founded the law firm of Becker Mathers with Alec Becker.
Following Alec's retirement in 1994 Mike continued at Becker Mathers until 2006, before leaving to establish Lacroix Mathers.
Mike is a member in good standing of the
Law Society of British Columbia
and the
Trial Lawyers Association of B.C.
Mike is also an active member of the
Arizona
and
California State Bars.
For the last 20 years of his 32 years in practice Mike has worked exclusively in the field of personal injury law.
Mike is a resident of White Rock.

Carol was born in Ontario and received her law degree from UBC in 1996.
After her call to the BC bar, she commenced practice in Port Moody.
Carol joined Becker Mathers in 2001, before leaving in 2006 to establish the firm of Lacroix Mathers.
For the last 10 years of her 13 years in practice Carol has worked exclusively in the field of personal injury law.
Carol is a member in good standing of the
Law Society of B.C.
and the
Trial Lawyers Association of B.C.
Carol is a resident of Langley.
